John Donoghue

Mr. Donoghue has over 35 years of experience in the development of several telecommunications companies and served. His achievements include co-founding National Fiber Networks (USA), and leading its team to obtain a franchise agreement with the City of New York to install the first US dark fiber network. In his 35 years of global infrastructure experience he has constructed, permitted, and deployed over 1,500 wireless sites and one million fiber miles of dark fiber infrastructure.

 In 2008, National Fiber Networks de México S. de R.L. de C.V. (NFN) began its operations as the first commercial provider of dark fiber in Mexico. NFN received its approval from the Secretaría de Comunicaciones y Transportes (SCT). NFN is a Carrier Neutral Provider of Dark Fiber and Co-Location infrastructure, providing infrastructure solutions for the wireless carrier’s networks including backhaul, small cell, CRAN, GPON 2 and In-building wireless networks. NFN is also serving the enterprise and government markets as dark fiber digital infrastructure plays a more significant role as their bandwidth requirements for intelligent networks grows. The Digital Infrastructure required for the Internet of Things, 5G Wireless and Smart Cities infrastructure is redefining how business will be conducted and for a greater need of a closer working relationship between the private and public sectors mutual interest.
