Successful & proven record of accomplishment at leading large & complex projects that involved different aspects of Technology Implementation, Transformation, Planning, Budgeting, Operations etc.

In capacity of network transformation champion, had lead role in deployment of many telecom green field projects in MENA regions, managed teams of employees from diverse cultures & varying professional competencies and responsible for CAPEX budgets to the tune of millions KWD. Most successful and prominent projects work includes lead the design and deployment of the very first commercial 5G NSA Core network in Middle East and North Africa region, lead the design and deployment of M2M / IoT platform, connected cars and Critical communication MCPTT platform, as well as lead the planning, design and deployment of the FIRST Commercial VOLTE Network on the MENA region.

As key member of the “STC Group synergy for 5G SA, NFV/SDN, VoLTE / VoWiFi, and AI” took initiative and responsibility to assess benefits of new core network technological advancements. Most notably, under his leadership, stc Kuwait opco was first to test NFV technology through early virtualized VoLTE deployment, first to achieve 100% of elements cloudification and some 70% capacity cloudification. Furthermore, stc Kuwait successfully commercialized country-wide 5G NSA deployment, tested 5G SA and will commercialize it by 2020 end thus enabling innovative new approach to telecom business – through means of network slicing and context specific SLA.

Received his PhD in Telecommunications Engineering from the Ain Shams University, Egypt.
