Yogaratnam Rahulan is a Chief Architect at the 5G Innovation Centre, Institute of communications Systems, (ICS), University of Surrey. Rahulan leads the 5G testbed projects in the Centre, and designs 5G systems and manages the systems and software development activities, particularly the 5G core network software development and network management centre activities. he has works with many industrial mobile partners to integrate OTS software from Vodafone, EE, Telefonica, Huawei, Samsung, Fujitsu and other European universities etc. Rahulan also led the UK and European project that involved the 5G Testbed in the UK. His career spans the cellular GPRS, UMTS and LTE generations where he has worked in R&D at Nokia, Accenture, Telefónica O2 and PPF. Rahulan graduated MSc in Mobile Communication systems and BEng(Hons) in Information systems Engineering from University of Surrey, UK
