Degree in Electrical Engineering, with emphasis in Electronics and Systems, and later specialization in Telecommunications, from the Pontifícia Universidade Católica of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-RJ).
In Brazilian military projects, worked as a designer of radar systems and weapons controls for the frigates of the Navy. In the telecommunications area, joined Embratel in 1999, implementing the first ATM networks, developing QoS (quality of service) for services on the ATM/Frame-Relay and IP Backbone networks, developing the first national digital signal transport network for video contribution from TV Broadcasters (SmarTVideo), the design of the new IP video contribution network (EvSOL) and testing & deployment of the first WiMax, Metro Ethernet and GPON networks. Integrated in the area of Technological Evolution, has always worked in the development of new products and services, also researching and development of new technologies such as IoT, SDN, NFV, 4,5G and 5G for the entire Claro group. Coordinated for Claro the Anatel 5G coexistence tests between the 3.5GHz 5G band and the satellite TVRO C-Band reception systems. Also participates, in the Telebrasil 5G Brazil Project, as reporteur for Frequencies Commission and Infrastructure Commission.
