2023 AWARD TIMELINE

The Africa Tech Festival Awards campaign takes place over three main stages:

Nominations: A one-month period to submit your entries, either for yourself or on behalf of someone else, to be considered for an award.

Public Voting: Up to five candidates will make the shortlist. Only three will move on to become finalists. The three candidates with the most votes from the public will then move on to our final stage.

Judges Voting: Our expert panel of judges will look at the entries of each of our finalists and score them against a set of criteria to determine our winners!

Celebrate Excellence at the 2023 Gala Dinner!

The Africa Tech Festival Awards are back in 2023, and this year, we're taking the celebration to new heights with a prestigious formal gala dinner at the iconic Mount Nelson Hotel in Cape Town.

We'll kick off the evening with a drinks reception, giving guests the opportunity to mingle and network with one another before being seated for a fabulous three-course meal, followed by the award show.

Get ready for an evening of glamour, excitement, and recognition as we honour the brightest stars of Africa's thriving tech ecosystem!
