Dorothy Tunde-Ajala is a HR Leader with over 20 years’ experience in developing and implementing Human Resource strategies to achieve diverse organisational goals. She holds a B.Sc. in Sociology from University of Lagos, an ongoing Masters in International Business from UCAM, Spain.
Dorothy is a Global Professional in Human Resources, a Certified John Maxwell Trainer, Speaker and Coach and a Certified Behavioural Analysis (DISC) Trainer.
Dorothy is currently the Lead Consultant/CEO at Accelerate Leadership Limited – A fast growing Coaching, Learning & Development and HR Advisory Services firm. Prior to that, she worked as HR Director Anglophone West Africa at Schneider Electric Nigeria; General Manager HR & Admin for Pan African International; Country Head of Human Resources - Siemens Nigeria Limited; HR Business Partner/Manager – MTN Nigeria and Head of People Management at ReStraL Consulting.
She is a Career and Leadership Coach to people at various career levels (early career to C-suite level), and a Mentor to a numerous young HR Professionals.
Dorothy is passionate about Women in Leadership, Equipping the differently abled with employability skills and Coaching people and organisations to achieve their potential.
Arising from the several requests she receives to help with procuring jobs, Dorothy founded “Accelerate Your Career” – A WhatsApp Group where vacancies are posted to members to match them to available jobs and they get access to free career enhancement Training sessions per month.
Dorothy sits on the Board of Women In HR, and was a member of the Board of Directors for Schneider Electric Systems Nigeria Limited. She is also a member of the Advisory Committee for Association of Elite HR Professionals (AEHRP) – a 500 member based HR Group in Nigeria.
She is a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF), Institute of Directors (IOD), Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), Institute of Management and an Associate of Leadership for Environment and Development (LEAD).
She was recently nominated as one of the 2020 Africa LinkedIn Influencer Awards (HR/Recruiter Category).
