Have you downloaded the Official AfricaCom app?
The Networking App is a members-only networking application for the participants of the 2019 events. This powerful app allows you to:
- Create a maintain a public profile
- Request meetings with other delegates*
- Manage a personalised schedule of event sessions and meetings
- Send private in-app messages to other delegates*
- Discover what's around you (restaurants, bars, coffee shops etc.)
- Access presentation after the event
*Please note, this feature is not applicable to all registration types.
Frequently Asked Questions About the App
How do I find my login details?
The first place to check is your junk mail. The email will come AfricaCom. If you still cannot locate it, please contact email@example.com to be resent your details.
How do I download the app?
Visit the app website to login via desktop. If you wish to login via mobile, download the 'KNect365' app and then search for AfricaCom to access the app.
Why can't I book meetings?
Free visitor pass types do not have full access to the networking app and therefore are unable to book meetings. They can only receive meeting requests from other delegates. If you wish to upgrade to full access please purchase a pass here
How do I change my personal information?
If your personal information such as company name or email address is incorrect, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org with information on what you would like changed.
My colleague has their login details but where are mine?
Don't panic - it probably means they registered earlier than you. Please note, it can take up to 48 hours to be added to the app.
What can I add to my profile?
Once logged in, you can add your profile photo, bio, contact details and upload photos, videos and documents.
Will I need to access the app during the event?
Definitely! The app is a great way to stay in the know during the event with app alerts on the latest news and updates. Plus, you can use it prior to the event to help plan your day. The WiFi will be free to use during the event, ensuring you can easily access the platform.
Can I access the app after the event?
Yes! Presentations will be made available after the event on the app, plus you can still use it to network.
