CTO at the National Office of Post and telecommunication from 1998 - 2002: AKOUALA has the challenge to rehabilitate and modernize the infrastructure destroyed by the civil war in 1997. He drives the project of national coverage on satellite basis to modernize its infrastructure and connectivity. This get the result of the first internet connection of Republic of Congo on October 09, 1999 through the network Congonet.
From 2005 to 2006 Mr AKOUALA was promute as adviser for the minister for posts and telecommunications and new technologies. On this job he has designed the new national coverage project on the optical fiber basis. The government approved the project, and its management was transferred to the general delegation of the great work.
From 2006: Mr AKOUALA was the adviser of the President of the Republic for posts and telecommunications and new technologies and the National Coverage Project Coordinator (NCPC) in telecommunications by the general delegation of great work.
As the coordinator of the NCPC, He has built 3 Next Generation Network Switches and more than 3000 km of national optical Backbone. He has also built the Cable Landing Station in Matombi where there is the arrival of Submarine WACS Cable in Republic of Congo.
Since 2008, Mr AKOUALA join back Congo telecom as CEO. Here, the challenge was the adjustment of the company and now Congo telecom is working to his international expansion by Building European Pop and Panafrican Pop.
Mr AKOUALA has more than 30 years of experience in telecommunication and Hold a Phd on telecommunications from the Polytechnic Institute of Sofia in Bulgaria.
