Dr Diana Onyango is a veterinary doctor and a project management specialist with over eighteen years’ experience in animal health, food security and livelihood sectors. She is a holder of a Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Medicine and a Master’s degree in Veterinary Epidemiology and Public Health. Dr Onyango has worked with various NGOs in Kenya, Ethiopia and Somalia, on projects focused on one health; animal health and livestock production; food security and livelihoods support in pastoralists communities and smallholder farmers; agriculture and livestock value chains development and improving community resilience through community-led adaptation building approaches. Dr Onyango works with Farm Africa as the Regional Technical Manager for Livestock and Rangelands providing the overall technical leadership and implementation oversight for all of Farm Africa’s livestock and rangeland management interventions in Kenya, Ethiopia, Uganda and Tanzania.
