Dudu Mkhwanazi is the Chief Executive Officer of Project Isizwe, the South African non-profit organization that advocates for free internet access within walking distance of every citizen in low-income communities. Project Isizwe has facilitated the deployment of the largest free Public Free Wi-Fi network in Africa in the Tshwane Municipality, Gauteng, South Africa.
Dudu completed her undergraduate degree in Public Administration at North West University (Vaal Triangle Campus), before pursuing her Honors Degree in Political Science also at North West University. In 2013 Dudu embarked on her Master's Degree in Public Policy and Comparative Politics at the Université Montpellier in the South of France.
Previously, Dudu worked as an Operations Manager for the Democratic Alliance, and served as a strategic political advisor for the MMC of Group Corporate and Shared Services at the City of Johannesburg Council. With her experience in the political environment, Dudu is committed to enabling social justice through a unique leadership approach, combining authentic relationships and business rigor. Dudu is an experienced Chief Executive Officer with a demonstrated history of successfully managing complex projects at scale.
