For the past 18 years, Nick has been a wireless engineer with experience in licensed and unlicensed spectrum, and both mobile and fixed architectures. In 2001 Nick was a member of the Ericsson radio access network team responsible for the first 2G GPRS (GSM) packet data transfer in Canada. Nick then spent 10 years deploying and optimizing national cellular networks on both CDMA and TDMA 2/2.5G technology with a tier 1 mobile operator. In 2011, Nick led the first TD-LTE pilot in Canada for both 2.5 GHz and 3.5 GHz and has worked on hundreds of networks since.
