Profile

Pinky Sharon Kekana is a South African politician, the Deputy Minister of Communications & Digital Technologies, & an African diplomat, the Patron of the Pan African Business Women's Association PABWA, & the former SG of PAWO.

In her role, the Deputy Minister, recognises the vital importance of bridging the digital divide between people living, working and travelling in remote parts of the country with metropolitan cities. Of all her roles, the only thing that she is more passionate about, than technology, is her commitment and absolute dedication to increasing the profile of women on the African continent through initiatives that promote women and equality broadly. As the Patron of PABWA she drives the economic agenda of African women on the continent, by access to opportunities that will benefit them & generations to come. Her ultimate vision is to see 'economic gender parity her lifetime'.
