Prescillia Avenel-Delpha is the Chief marketing officer at TRACE Mobile, which is a new mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) in South Africa.
In this role, she oversees all aspects of TRACE Mobile’s marketing efforts, including strategy, distribution, customer research, digital marketing, creative development, media and sponsorships to drive profitable marketing programs and customer preference for the brand through all channels.
Prescillia’s greatest strengths are her creativity, drive and leadership. She is known to thrive at overcoming challenges, particularly those that are in need of solutions that are beyond the organisation’s network of resources. The launch of a new mobile operator dedicated to the youth of South Africa is one of them, which sees her tasked with competing in a highly competitive environment where many companies have come and gone before TRACE Mobile.
Before joining TRACE Mobile, Prescillia was VP Sales & Marketing for TRACE Play, a digital platform dedicated to Afro-urban entertainment and culture, curating the best content from all around the world - where she was responsible for the product marketing and B2B distribution to mobile operators, as well as direct consumer Digital strategies.
Her experience in Digital further stems from serving at Manageo, a start-up based in France specialized in Big Data, helping companies to improve their business performance through a better use of data and insights, and and as well as at Volkswagen France, where she held the reigns as the Digital Acquisition Strategist for the brand over a period of 3 years
