WANGECI MURAGE is a broadcast media executive with 20 years experience in content production, channel development, project management and strategic business development. Wangeci began her career as a radio and television producer and presenter in Kenya, before holding senior management positions at M-Net East
Africa and ZUKU TV, where she developed business strategies that contributed to the growth and success of the organizations. Now at MEDIA PROS AFRICA as Founder & Managing Partner, Wangeci provides strategic and innovative media solutions to broadcast networks, content producers, and distributors across Africa.

Wangeci has continually served as a jury member for the International Emmy Awards (East Africa & Middle East), Zanzibar International Film Festival (Tanzania), Kalasha TV/Film Awards (Kenya), Africa Magic Viewer Choice Awards (Nigeria), Riverwood Academy Awards (Kenya), Machawood Short Film Festival (Kenya),
Mashariki Film Festival (Rwanda) and FESTICAB (Burundi) where she was the Chief Juror for the East African category. She also featured in several stage productions appearing on the big screen in Dangerous Affair (2002) and Project Daddy (2004).

Wangeci has extensive knowledge on the media landscape in Africa and has over the years built strong relationships with industry stakeholders around the world. She regularly contributes to panel discussions held during international media conferences and forums such as DISCOP Africa (Cote D’Ivoire, Kenya & South Africa), East African Film Network (Zanzibar) and The Deutsche Wella Global Media Forum (Germany). She has also conducted several training workshops and attended seminars aimed at the development of Film and TV in East Africa.
