Profile
Maimouna is a social impact enthusiast with diverse work experiences in the private sector and international development space. She has a keen interest in tech-enabled social innovations and impact investment.
She worked in banking, marketing and more recently as a development strategy consultant at Dalberg, serving global non-profits such as the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the United Nations, USAID, etc. in areas such as education, youth employment, women empowerment challenges, etc.
Maimouna is also an award-winning tech-entrepreneur, a YALI MWF fellow and a Chevening fellow. She holds a bachelor's degree in marketing and a master's degree in management from the Dakar Polytechnique School; she studied business and entrepreneurship at Kellogg School of Management in Chicago and an MBA at the University of Nottingham in the UK.
She currently works as an independent strategy and business development consultant based in the UK. She is a board member of the WIC, acting as a deputy communication officer.
