Zandile KabiniFounder & Executive Chairperson at Association of Women in ICT
Zandile Kabini was born in a village called Jane Furse, situated in Sekhukhune District Municipality – Limpopo Province. She is a young female with experience in ICT providing objective advice, expertise and specialist skills with the aim of creating value, maximizing growth and improving the business performance of clients. She is a member of IODSA and BMF. Zandile previously served as a Board Chairperson of ODI Water and a member of the Audit & Risk Committee of Road Traffic Management Corporation (RTMC). She currently serves on the Audit & Risk Committee of the Department of Sport and Recreation (SRSA), National Department of Health, ICT Steering Committee of the National Regulator for Compulsory Specifications (NRCS), and the Board of Boxing SA (BSA). She is also a Non-Executive Director of Broadband Infraco (BBI) and Southern African Development Community – Groundwater Management Institute (SADC-GMI). Zandile is the Founder and Chairperson of association of Women in ICT (aWICT). The aWICT vision is to provide a solid platform for women to become active participants and understand the magnitude and effects of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR). It aims to address the challenges faced by highly potential but marginalised women in ICT to improve their education, employment, leadership and business opportunities.
