Maurizio is a technologist, inventor, innovation leader, intrapreneur and executive with 25 years’ experience in R&D, strategy, innovation, corporate development, market development and commercialisation of technology.

Maurizio has an extensive reputation and track record in the UK of shaping, operationalizing and executing a range of technology and innovation initiatives in corporate, start-up and public-sector environments – including at national scale. Maurizio has an Engineering Degree from the Politecnico di Milano, Doctorate in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Edinburgh and an Executive MBA from the Bath School of Management.

Amongst other professional achievements, he is a prolific inventor with over 40 granted US patents and 35 peer-reviewed scientific publications and appeared on mainstream media such as the BBC, Guardian and the FT. Maurizio has been elected Fellow of the Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET) in 2016.
