Enrico Santus was born in Iglesias, Italy. He received his Master's degree in Computational Linguistics from the University of Pisa. Thanks to the support of several scholarships, he could live one year in London, six months in Stuttgart, and six months in Hong Kong. An enthusiast of this latter city, Enrico moved there in 2013 to pursue his PhD in Computational Linguistics. He then moved to Singapore and finally reached MIT, where he is currently working in Natural Language Processing for healthcare, pharma, and media with Regina Barzilay.
