Frances SchwiepPrincipal at Two Sigma Ventures
Frances focuses on the future of intelligent apps, decentralized data networks, consumer tech, voice computing, and applied AI/ML, with an emphasis on the underlying and connected threads of how startups in these areas can leverage digital assets to redefine businesses and build new categories. She joined Two Sigma Ventures to develop its seed program, quickly backing Qurasense and Pryon. She's also been involved in the firm's follow-on deals with Enigma and RapidSOS.
She began her investment career at Highland Capital and then Comcast Ventures, where she worked on startup investments including FortressIQ, Osaro, Uptycs, Windsor Circle, Fanduel, and Zola. Companies she has worked with have gone on to raise more than $250 million in follow-on funding so far. Of note, Frances was recognized in Forbes 30 Under 30 as an expert investing in the next great tech companies.
