Data Scientist at Starmind

Joachim Ott is a data scientist in the AI team at Starmind. He studied Neural Systems and Computation at ETH Zurich in Switzerland, while also working on research projects in some of the worlds best AI labs like MILA in Montreal and IDSIA in Lugano. He specializes in machine learning models that process sequential data, for example speech or text. At Starmind, he covers the entire AI development pipeline from algorithm research up to patenting production ready approaches. A focus is AI technology for automatic and smart extracting of skills and expertise information from the data a user interacts with each day. Together with the other AI team members he makes sure Starmind's algorithms are always on par or surpass published state-of-the-art algorithms and techniques, to ensure the best quality and performance for Starmind's clients and users.
