Data needs to be an asset in a business’s balance sheet, and AI, Analytics and Data teams must be a full partner of the business lines, not a support function - this is my belief.
I have been an innovation, delivery and operations leader in Public and Startup companies in Data, Analytics and Artificial Intelligence.
I bring an entrepreneurial attitude, having been a C-level and a Board member, and am a hands on technologist who has also been a VP Sales, Biz Dev, and Marketing. Well versed in Blockchain, Ethereum, Crypto technologies as well as AI Machine Learning, Data Science and Data Warehousing.
Previously was VP for Data at Zalando, VP for Big Data Analytics for Ericsson, delivering products/services including Data-driven Customer Experience Mgmt, IoT Analytics (Hadoop/Spark), Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Deep Learning. Built an exponentially growing business on all fronts - from Sales to Delivery.
Prior, I founded OTT pioneer TellyTopia in 2006, built a cutting edge product, deployed to more than 1.5 million TV sets worldwide. TellyTopia was acquired by Concurrent (NASDAQ:CCUR) in 2010. I was on the leadership team at Lantern Communications, was instrumental in Lantern's acquisition by C-COR, and ran Business Development and Technical Marketing for Transport. I was CEO at Big-Data-Gurus, TellyTopia, CanadaFlix, and held leadership positions at Concurrent (NASDAQ:CCUR), MomentumSI, C-COR (NASDAQ:ARRS).
