Lukas Skocek is working as Vice President Data & Insights at Magenta Telekom Austria, reporting directly into the Board.
The department is providing vision and strategy over the entire data lifecycle serving the business purpose of the company (Data Strategy, Data Architecture, Data Warehousing, Big Data Lake, Data Governance, Data Quality Management and Data Science).
Lukas has more than with 14 years of international experience (10+ countries) as management consultant and line manager in various industries (a.o. telecommunication, banking, insurance, retail, oil and gas), mainly in data related projects and teams.
He holds two Master degrees (Software Engineering, Business Informatics) from the University of Applied Sciences Technikum Vienna (Austria) as well as Master of Business Administration degrees from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota (USA) and the WU Executive Academy Vienna (Austria).
