Matias Quintanilla
Head of Customer Experience Monitoring at O2 (Telefonica)


Young, open, dynamic and risk-taking are probably the best words to describe 32 year-old Matias Quintanilla.

Matias started working in the Telecom industry very young, at the age of 19, as an entrepreneur where together with his father and other partners they founded Skynet Communications, a small ISP company in Buenos Aires where he started learning the basics of the business while attending the University to get his Telecommunications Engineer degree.

After that, as a fresh graduate, he decided to move into more influential companies within the sector and worked for Alcatel Lucent and Huawei before joining Telefonica Argentina in 2014 in the Planning Department. A year later he had the pleasure to start heading such department where he would stay as Head of Planning for 3 year. In the meantime he finished his Master in Business Administration (MBA) early in 2016. During early October 2018 he transferred over to the UK to start heading the Performance Management & Data Analytics team at O2 Telefonica UK where he is currently working.
