Omri GellerCo-Founder and CEO at Run:AI
Omri Geller co-founded Run:AI in 2018 in order to build a virtualization layer for AI workloads – essentially abstracting jobs from compute power in order to pool and dynamically share expensive compute resources.
Omri leads all of Run:AI’s day to day activities, managing an executive team who are together responsible for the company’s sales, business development, research and development, and marketing activities. Prior to Run:AI, Omri served in the elite technological unit of the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office as part of the “Academic Atuda” program of the Israeli Defense Forces.
During his army service he was promoted to the role of technical project manager (2015-2017) where he led large cross-functional teams of engineers, supervising innovative deep technological projects for complex, critical missions. Prior to this he served as an Algorithm engineer (2010-2014) where he developed High Performance Computing algorithms. In 2015, he received an award for outstanding contribution to Israel’s defense.
Omri received his B.Sc. degree in 2010 (cum laude) and his M.Sc. degree under the supervision of Prof. Meir Feder in 2016 from the Tel Aviv University, both in Electrical Engineering. He is the recipient of the Tel Aviv University award for excellence in M.Sc. studies (2015) and the IIsrael Defense Forces award for excellence in academic studies (2010).
