Tyler Folkman

Head of AI at BEN

Tyler Folkman is the Head of Artificial Intelligence at BEN Group. His work explores applications of machine learning in disrupting and transforming the entertainment and marketing industries. Tyler's work has earned multiple patents in the areas of entity resolution and knowledge extraction from unstructured data. Prior to joining BEN Group, Tyler led Ancestry’s personalization and recommendation teams, and served as an Adjunct Professor of Applied Machine Learning at Brigham Young University. Tyler holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Austin, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude, but sees himself as an ongoing student of leadership, passionately pursuing knowledge and science.
