Taimoor Shah

Chief Operating Officer at Shifa International Hospitals Ltd

Mr. Taimoor Shah is a healthcare leader with extensive experience of working in healthcare quality, management and technology with hospitals, academic medical centers, grant makers, development specialists, technology leaders, corporate executives and quality specialists in Pakistan, Middle East and Australia. He is a Fellow of American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) and Fellow of American Board of Quality Assurance and Utiliazation Review Physicians (FABQAURP). 

Currently working as Chief Operating Officer of Shifa International Hospitals Ltd and having previously worked as Director Quality and JCI Focal Person, he is also involved in numerous healthcare initiatives inside and outside the country. Mr. Shah has been a member of the Evaluation Committee of Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) and Technical Advisory Group (Health and Well-being) for development of Sustainable Development Strategy by Ministry of Planning and Development. 

Mr. Shah is on the faculty of the Leadership Development Program at Shifa International Hospital, adjunct faculty at Shifa Tameer e Millat University and member of the ORIC (Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization) Committee. 

He is also on the Board of Governors of various not-for-profit organizations in the country working in the field of health and education: Shifa Foundation, Ahmed E. H. Jaffer Foundation and Kohatians Foundation.
