Filip Chytry

Head of Global Technical Sales at Avast

Filip Chytry has worked at Avast for more than eleven years.

His areas of expertise are the security of the Internet of Things, smartphones as 5G, as well as technical sales. Filip foresees problems and solutions in security, negotiates technical implementations with Avast’s partners and clients, consults other companies’ networks, and conducts security research. One of Filip’s biggest passions is devising and executing experiments to educate people on security risks.

Through his work with the Avast Foundation, Filip works with NGOs, helping them setting up their IT security.

Filip has spoken at events like MWC, CES, Virus Bulletin, CARO, B-sides ITC, Freedom Forum 2000 and many others.

Filip attended the School of Applied Cybernetics in Hradec Kralove and later the Technical

College in Prague. His life motto is “Expect the unexpected”.
