Livia Rosu is the Marketing Chair and Member of the Board of Directors of the HomeGrid Forum, supporting the deployment of G.hn, the globally recognized ITU-T standard based technology designed for bandwidth-intensive and real-time applications. She is also Senior Strategy and Alliances Manager at MaxLinear Inc., US provider of high-performance radio frequency (RF) and mixed-signal integrated circuits for the connected home, wired and wireless infrastructure markets. She drives the home networking and broadband access deployment strategy alignment with global operators on platforms definition and multi-system interoperability. Livia is a qualified Computer Science engineer with BSc., MSc. and MBA degrees having dedicated 18 years to semiconductors and the standardization of revolutionary technologies ranging from Smart Cards to Smart Cities. Livia has gained a strong knowledge of the telecommunications industry challenges serving previously as head of business development for the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI), Chair of the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) PSO Council and Member of the Steering Group of the European Commission for Internet Governance.
