Ari Lopes

Senior Manager: Americas at Omdia

As part of Omdia's Service Provider Markets, Ari Lopes manages the Americas team and covers the telecoms and digital services markets in Latin America. His research interests include operators’ strategies, 5G, fixed broadband and IoT.

His main research interests are in mobile and fixed operator strategies. Ari provides analysis of the key developments in the Latin American telecoms market, particularly on Brazil, as well as forecasting the mains telecoms services in the region.

Prior to joining the company in 2012, Ari worked as a senior financial analyst for Google, pricing manager for Oi and Brasil Telecom and pricing analyst for Vivo.

He holds a degree in Economics from the University of Campinas (UNICAMP) and a MSc in Communications Management from the University of Strathclyde.
