Gabriel Sidhom is the Chief Operating Officer of Orange Silicon Valley. He is responsible for all of the engineering, development, research, IT, and Finance organizations. His key responsibility is to conduct Proofs of Concepts, and conceive prototypes and develop services that make visible, accessible, and actionable innovations emblematic of the Silicon Valley and more generally the US to Orange's worldwide mobile, internet, television and fixed-line properties as well as its enterprise clients.
He started at Orange in 1991 overseeing marketing activity for the company’s North American operations. Before that, he held several positions throughout Orange in Europe and the US including in Orange’s European-based voice and IP wholesale services division; at GlobeCast, Orange’s satellite broadcasting service subsidiary; and in international data and voice product management and development.
Prior to Orange, he worked for Verizon/GTE in a variety of executive-level marketing and development roles from 1980 to 1991. Mr. Sidhom holds an MA from UCLA and holds three patents.
