Jeongho Jeon (JJ) received the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park, MD, USA. He was with Intel Corporation from 2013 to 2018, where he was involved in various advanced researches as well as 3GPP 4G LTE and 5G NR standardizations. He is currently the Director of 6G research in the Standards and Mobility Innovation Laboratory, Samsung Research America, where he contributes to the development of various 6G technologies as well as prototyping. Also, he is currently serving as the Vice-Chairman of the Next G Alliance Technology WG.
Dr. Jeon is the author of more than 40 articles and more than 200 inventions, including pending applications. He was a recipient of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Fellowship from 2011 to 2013. Dr. Jeon is a Senior Member of IEEE.
