Jose Aguilar

General Director of Policy and Regulation at MTC

Jose has been General Director of Policy and Regulation in Communications of the Transport and Communications Ministry since 2018. He is an economist from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, MBA with a specialization in Finance from the ESAN University. He has more than 15 years of experience in matters of regulation of public services, evaluation and monitoring of Public–private partnerships, valuation of companies, financial models, calculation of the WACC and design of different policies applied in the regulatory field. He has also taught various courses both undergraduate and graduate, related to regulatory and financial issues and has been an official in regulatory bodies.
