Michael Zeto
VP Advanced Solutions - Internet of Things Solutions, at AT&T


Michael Zeto is Vice President/GM of AT&T IOT Advanced Solutions and 5G Center of Excellence. Michael is
responsible for teams that drive the overall strategy, business development and go-to-market for AT&T’s
IOT Advanced Solutions Group, 5G Center of Excellence, Sports & Entertainment and Drones emerging

Michael previously served as Vice President IOT Solutions and General Manager Smart Cities. Michael led the
strategy, product and go to market IOT teams for Smart Cities, FirstNet, Drones, Public Private Partnerships,
Energy and Utilities and Sports and Entertainment verticals.

Prior to that Michael served as a Director of Strategy in AT&T’s Mobile & Business Solutions organization,
focusing on M&A and emerging growth opportunities in the areas of IoT, Big Data, Consumer Engagement
and Cloud technologies.

Prior to joining AT&T, Michael was the co-founder and CEO of Proximus Mobility, a location-based consumer
engagement software company. Throughout his career, he has successfully served in various general
management, corporate development, and enterprise sales roles with various technology companies.
Michael has been an Industry Fellow with the Georgia Research Alliance, an organization that makes
investments in university professor-led research projects that generate IP for commercialization. He is also
an active participant in the Atlanta-based technology startup community, serving as a mentor and advisor to
early-stage entrepreneurs. To this end, Michael regularly speaks at events throughout the country to
promote innovation, entrepreneurship, and intrapreneurship. Michael is also a Corporate Advisor for Forte
Ventures LP and serves on the Advisory Board of Lab Atlanta in partnership with the Lovett School.

Currently, Michael serves on the Board of Directors of the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce. He also is
very active in supporting local and national charities.
