Mo KatibehSenior Vice President, Network Infrastructure & Build at AT&T
Mo leads the development and operations of one of the largest, most complex infrastructure builds on the planet, also known as the AT&T network. He has the honor of leading the team bringing an essential element of modern life and business – Fiber, Mobility, 5G, and 5G+ – to customers. Previously, as Chief Product & Platform Officer of AT&T Business, Mo was responsible for the group’s portfolio-wide P&L with $36B of annual revenue in 2020. He also led several sales channels including Wholesale and Integrated Solutions. In other words, he had the privilege of leading remarkable people with the singular purpose of enabling customers’ business success. His team achieved a lot: Multi-BILLION-dollar revenue growth across AT&T’s Mobility and Fiber based solutions – while growing connections and market share. They also launched game-changing solutions like FirstNet for First Responders, SD-WAN (quickly becoming the market leader), and AT&T Wireless Broadband, enabling the first nationwide Business broadband network. They expanded AT&T’s Security portfolio and created AT&T Cybersecurity. They also helped customers advance their businesses with amazing 5G solutions (and Mo had the privilege of being the first hologram transmitted over 5G!)
Mo also held the CMO position leading AT&T Business’s marketing organization, where his team oversaw marketing and product for traditional telecom services, mobility, and strategic services. During this time, Mo was recognized as one of Forbes 50 Most Influential CMOs on Earth, twice, and his team drove the highest brand scores ever. Prior to being CMO, Mo was SVP, Advanced Solutions. In this role he led AT&T Business’ cybersecurity, cloud, digital, Wi-Fi and field services. In this role, his team positioned AT&T to be a worldwide “leader” in managed security service providers according to IDC, delivering multiple quarters of double-digit revenue growth.
Looking further back, Mo managed the Northeast Construction & Engineering organization where his teams built out the AT&T wireline and wireless network. In this capacity, he led the deployment of LTE to over 90% of the population and one of the fastest network recoveries in history after Super Storm Sandy. His other experiences include IT, national and regional project & program management, local marketing, customer experience efforts, and field and center operations.
