Raelyn ThomasPrincipal Engineer - Technical Project Management, RFP Principal at Verizon
Raelyn Thomas is a Principal Engineer in Technical Project Management on the In-building Venue PMO team at Verizon. She is responsible for the strategic implementation of in-building solutions throughout airports and various large scale in-building venues. Raelyn is also the PMO's RFP Principal (Bid Manager) and oversees all in-building related private, enterprise, and public sector solicitations.
Prior to this role, Raelyn was a national Senior Project Manager at Connectivity Wireless Solutions and was responsible for managing the overall deployment of wireless systems for high profile projects across the nation. This includes projects that supported multiple Superbowl, NASCAR, Comic Con, and RNC events.
From 2010 to 2014, Raelyn led renewable energy projects, including both commercial and residential solar installations, throughout the United States. Her drive and adaptability led multiple start up organizations through their initial and growth phases, and Raelyn was directly involved in leading those companies in tripling their revenue and rapidly increasing their project portfolios.
Raelyn is a Native Hawaiian woman, born and raised in the islands of Hawai'i, and attended the University of Hawai'i at Manoa. She earned a Bachelor's of Science in Project Management from the University of Phoenix, while traveling the world with her husband, who was an active duty service member at the time. She also holds an active Project Management Professional Certification. Raelyn resides in Denver, CO with her husband, son, and boxer dog, and enjoys skiing with her family.
