Ramana JonnalaCEO at Swim
Ramana has been a part of every significant, transformative industry trend since the 90s: He started his career at VERITAS Software building large-scale storage architectures, and then joined the team at XenSource as vice president to lead the product team in delivering the first open source virtualization platform. After Citrix acquired XenSource, Ramana served as vice president of Citrix’s Virtualization Management Division and led the product team in delivering the first bare metal hypervisor for client devices. These experiences convinced Ramana that at the core of a successful startup is an extremely talented technical team which thinks about solutions to problems in a very different way. With the experience of building products that can scale and his passion for building world-class teams that can drive these disruptive transformations, Ramana co-founded Coho Data to bring about the next era of the software-defined datacenter.
Ramana now holds the position of CEO at Swim, a company at the forefront of helping Fortune 100 customers to develop and operationalize real-time, contextual data analytics solutions from massive amounts of streaming and batch data. Working with some of the largest telecommunication service providers in the world, Swim is delivering unique and ground-breaking solutions for 4G/5G and MEC environments.
