Shane McClellandVice President, Strategy and Business Development, Head of Emerging RAN Solutions, Market Area North America at Ericsson
Shane is responsible for sales support and business development for emerging RAN solutions consisting of radio access network (RAN) transport products for microwave and fiber-based mobile backhaul, fronthaul, routers, indoor RAN distributed radio systems, and RAN site solutions. Shane is part of the Networks Domain which develops and delivers innovative & profitable network solutions for Ericsson's North American customers.
Prior to his current role, Shane served as Vice President, Head of Product Line IP Edge Routers and Partner Alliances. In this role, he was responsible for developing global business strategy, linking strategy to product portfolio planning, product development, and ensuring organizational execution for profitable business growth. Prior to Ericsson, Shane served in a variety of technical, sales and marketing roles at Marconi and FORE Systems.
Shane attended the University of Denver where he earned a Bachelor's of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. Upon graduation, he was commissioned a Second Lieutenant in the United States Air Force and was subsequently assigned to the Air Force Communications Command as a Communications/Computer Systems Engineer. Shane received his MBA from Southern Illinois University and attended Executive Education programs at Harvard University.
