Youngsoo Seo

SVP, Head of Network Technology Unit at KT

Youngsoo Seo received BS and MS degrees in Industrial Engineering from Hanyang University, Korea in 1991 and 1993, respectively. On completing his master’s degree, he joined Korea Telecom, where he currently holds a senior vice president position serving as Head of Network Technology Unit from January 2020. Prior to his current role, from 2018 to 2019, he took charge of Regional Network O&M Headquarters in two different regions, responsible for the provision and operation of wireless/wired networks, including 5G introduced early in 2019. His expertise also covers dimensioning/maintenance planning of IP networks, operation of wireless/wired core networks and network maintenance/monitoring.
