Bob Tynan is a technology, sales and marketing leader with a proven track record of delivering Service Provider growth strategies and sales results. With over 20 years of experience leading sales, marketing and business development initiatives in the technology sector. In his current role, Bob heads a Global Marketing Strategy team focused on Service Provider grow their revenue in the Business Services market.
Bob started his career at General Electric in the Plastics Division, working through Sales Engineering, Filed Sales and Field marketing roles. Bob entered the Cable Service Provider sector in 2000 in a Product marketing role and joined Cisco via the Scientific-Atlanta acquisition. He held positions in Product Marketing, Business Development and Strategy roles within Cable Access and Consumer devices, before leaving for a brief stint in the IoT Consumer pace with Flextronics. Before joining Cisco systems in May of 2020, Bob’s most recent role was as VP of North American Sales for Casa-Systems, responsible for Cable and Fixed Telco regional accounts.
Bob earned his Masters of Engineering Management degree from Dartmouth College and holds undergraduate degrees in Physics and Mechanical Engineering from Colgate University and Dartmouth College, respectively.
Bob lives in the Atlanta Metro area with his wife Danielle, children Vivienne and Gavin, and the family dogs. Time permitting, Bob hits a few tennis balls and cycles in the backwoods of North Georgia.
