In 1996 he started Mega Limburg Telediensten after working for a CATV contractor for 7 years. There he gained CATV knowledge on coax and fiber. There he also introduced pro active maintenance procedures and professionalized tier 2 and tier 3 support levels. Mega Limburg then merged into Palet Kabelcom, He introduced of a proprietary Access Platform, enabling this MSO to expand its product portfolio, enhancing Business Revenue by opening up the way to triple play. He was a member of the Mediakabel venture that was able to introduce DVB-RC in HFC networks that enabled VoD services in 2000. The company merged into Essent Kabelcom ( ZIGGO) he made a switch from Network Maintenance and Operations to Project Management and from there he moved to Research and Development. Until 2015 he was involved with all DOCSIS migrations as a Sr Designer Access networks, Certifications and determining the needed designs, business caes and implementation plans. QoS on IPVPN on DOCSIS was one of his latest designs while working for Ziggo. The latest project he worked on at Ziggo was a large DAA study that investigated the impact of implementing Distributed CCAP and D3.1. Now after working for Huawei on Cable, he contributed his expertise to main projects in W-EU as the end responsible for Huawei‘s Business Strategy on Cable and its connected Innovation and Development Roadmap.
