Chief Operating Officer at Nortal
Jaanus Erlemann is former Chief Technology Officer of Starman Group, leading cable operator in the Baltic countries. His role and responsibility was besides management of daily operations also management of Business and Technology Architecture unit. He was responsible for strategic product development and technology projects and lifecycle management of group technology platform. Starman initiatives in the field of fibre deployment won two international awards for innovative infrastructure and broadband services - Global Telecom Business (GTB) Infrastructure Innovation award 2017 and Leading Lights Most Innovative Gigabit/Ultra-Broadband Service award 2017.
After Starman was taken over by Finnish operator Elisa in 2017, Jaanus joined multinational strategic change and technology company Nortal as their Chief Operating Officer.
Before joining Starman, Jaanus held various management positions in Financial industry. Between 2006 and 2012 he was CIO and Head of Administration division at Swedish independent investment manager East Capital. Prior to that he was Chief Operating Officer and Member of the Board at Tallinn Stock Exchange and Estonian Central Securities Depository.
