Eric HernaezPresident at SkySwitch
Eric Hernaez, founder and president of SkySwitch, began his career in telecom in 1996 as corporate counsel for Sequel Communications, a New Jersey company that was the first commercial internet service provider in the Philippines. In 1997, he became Sequel’s COO and orchestrated the company’s launch of the world’s first transpacific SS7-enabled VoIP network. In 1999, Hernaez founded telic.net (later renamed Solegy, then Netmobo and an early iteration of his vision for SkySwitch)) and served as its CEO until 2011. From 2011 through 2013, he served as vice president of marketing for Netsapiens, the softswitch vendor that SkySwitch now uses as part of its service offering. Hernaez earned his bachelor’s degree and JD from Temple University.
