As Chief Technology Officer, Guy Galonska is responsible for product Research and Development at Infarm, the world’s fastest growing farming network.
Leading the software engineering, plant science and hardware teams, Guy directs the development of the farms as well as the expansion of Infarm’s plants catalogue. Throughout 8 years of leadership, Guy has scaled a team of over 75 professionals, that integrates various science & technology disciplines to develop a global human-centered product offering.

The modular and flexible design of the company’s farms not only enables the Infarm network to grow fresh produce in any available space and fulfill any market demand, but it places cities on a technological path to one day become self-sufficient in their food production while improving the safety, quality, and environmental footprint of our food.

Guy’s passion, commitment and success at reimagining how technology can transform our food system have been noted by the industry, which in 2017 and again in 2019, recognized Infarm as the first hydroponic farming company to receive GlobalG.A.P (Global Good Agricultural Practices) certification, one of the world’s most recognised standards for safe and sustainable food production.

Guy resides in Berlin, where Infarm has its global headquarters.
