Kelly Wanser is Executive Director of SilverLining, a nonprofit policy and research organization dedicated to ensuring a safe climate. In that capacity, she has helped develop legislation; input to major climate reports; established technology innovation partnerships and launched a research fund. Ms. Wanser co-founded—and currently serves as Senior Advisor to—the University of Washington Marine Cloud Brightening Project. She also serves as a Board Director of Dendra Systems, a company that uses advanced technologies to restore ecosystems. She is also a member of the President's Circle of the National Academy of Sciences. Ms. Wanser previously served as a strategic advisor to Ocean Conservancy and to the fusion energy program Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. A technologist and entrepreneur, Wanser founded companies in the IT infrastructure, analytics, and security fields, and has authored over 20 patents. Early in her career, she served as a corporate strategy consultant in London and taught Economics and Philosophy as a volunteer at St. John’s College in Belize City.
