Rachel Delacour

Rachel has a strong background in finance and a history of launching disruptive tech startups, which has helped her successfully lead a pan-European team of twenty experts in data analytics and carbon consulting at Sweep. In 2009, having seen a real need for business intelligence (BI) tools in the age of Big Data, she co-founded BIME Analytics, a pioneer in Saas Cloud BI. In 2015, BIME was acquired by customer service company Zendesk, where Rachel took on the role of General Manager. Rachel was also elected as the Co-President of France Digitale (2018), the leading startup organisation in Europe, and is a business angel and board member at a number of US and French startups. Rachel firmly believes in amplifying the visibility and leadership of women in tech, and largely focuses her investments on women-founded technology businesses. Sweep’s 100% female board was created as a result of this passion. Her achievements have been recognised by LaTribune Women’s award, the French States Young Innovative Enterprise Award, and she was named as one of France’s Inspiring 50. Under Rachel’s leadership, Sweep has seen traction in a number of industries, including telecommunications and retail, since the companies launch. By designing a product which integrates superior business intelligence with streamlined tools that allow companies to easily and tangibly reduce their carbon emissions, Rachel’s vision has helped Sweep quickly gain the confidence of some of the largest emitting companies across industries.
