The judges are looking to award the Cloud Platform whose offerings are able to significantly maximise the simplicity while minimising the cost of IT. The Platform does not need to be a brand new platform but should demonstrate new, innovative and original features which contribute to these goals. It should be able to showcase how it can enable further agility, scalability, collaboration and a facilitated development environment in the most cost efficient, high quality and innovative way
In the era of cyber security threats, organisations are hesitant to invest in Cloud Computing solutions. Unauthorised access, data governance guidelines and losing control over data inhibit Cloud investment. Still, enterprises are allocating significant budgets on security.
The Judges are looking to award the security solution that can showcase its ability to close this security gap, encrypt and protect data no matter where they are stored and bring peace of mind in Cloud Computing.
Infrastructure is immensely important for Cloud, and this Award recognises it. The Best Cloud Infrastructure Provider Award will go to a company which can demonstrate the most reliable, cost effective and high quality infrastructure services particularly in the MENA region.
This Award, as the only Award for an individual professional rather than a company or group of companies, will recognise the hard work and passion of a superb CIO who has contributed significantly to their own company by deploying cloud, to the cloud industry in the region and to new developments in cloud technologies with regards to cooperation with partners/vendors. The Judges will be looking for an exemplary individual who is a true guru in the industry, able to influence the current developments for cloud in the region but also influence the future of cloud-based technologies.
Each category is independently judged by our neutral panel of industry analysts and specialists. Each application will be scored based on set criteria, the top scoring applicants shortlisted prior to the event.
