Sponsorship and Exhibition Opportunities at Critical Communications Latin America 2017

The Critical Communications Series offers sponsors and exhibitors an unrivalled opportunity to meet existing and potential customers, whether that be from a global or specific regional perspective.

About the event

TETRA was introduced into the Latin American market back in the early days of first-generation systems during the late 1990s and early 2000s as companies like Simoco and Nokia identified early opportunities for the technology. A number of other manufacturers soon opened up the vast continent, with several larger TETRA networks being deployed in Brazil for Rio Panamerican Games & Bahia Public Safety Secretariat in particular. Panama Canal was another high-profile adopter of TETRA technology along with several Metro & transport operators in Mexico, Columbia, Peru and Brazil. The TETRA and Critical Communications Association has been holding regular annual events in the region for over 10 years now. In more recent times, DMR has become more popular and we have even seen a small number of enterprise LTE pilots & projects as mission-critical customers start trying out the latest technologies to complement their existing TETRA or DMR solutions.

About the TCCA

The TCCA represents TETRA, the most successful mission critical communications voice and narrowband data mobile standard in the world. Now available with TEDS supporting wideband data, we support the further development of the standard and promote its increasing adoption by professional users in a growing number of market sectors across all continents. For critical broadband data communications, we are driving the development of common global mobile standards.
