Adrian Sherratt is the Head of the National Crime Agency 24/7 Control Centre which is the single point of contact for the control of all covert assets within the NCA. He is an experienced Senior Manager with a demonstrated history of working in the law enforcement industry. Skilled in strategic relationship management, threat/risk/harm identification and response, investigations, anti-corruption, standards, compliance, firearms command, public safety, anti-kidnap and extortion.
Adrian has 25 years of experience in Law Enforcement starting with Staffordshire Police in 1993. In 2003 he moved to the National Crime Squad which subsequently became Serious Organised Crime Agency and then National Crime Agency.
During his early years in the NCS he specialised in the command functions around kidnap & extortion ultimately taking over the role of lead commander for surveillance assets during crimes in action.
Adrian has a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) Degree from Leeds University and prior to taking over the NCA 24/7 Control Centre was the Regional Organised Crime Co-ordinator for North West & Wales. Where he established, developed and maintained effective relationships with key partners in law enforcement and public sector in support of NCA strategic priorities. Working collaboratively with internal and external partners to protect the public by creating an environment that motivates and inspires officers to work together to make the UK a hostile country for serious and organised criminals.
