Championing the power of East Africa’s tech ecosystems to build digital economies for all

I have enjoyed the lively discussions; I was so pleased to see a nice number of women as speakers and confident professionals in so many important sectors of support of financial growth. I was also pleased to see that technology developments are currently working in favour of effective financial programmes in Africa.

I recently attended the East Africa Com virtual event, it was worth every minute.  Very topical with well-informed presenters dealing with relevant questions, also I found it was very easy to connect with the attendee community and as with other virtual conferences I have attended recently, my perception is that attendees are more likely to direct questions at the panels they might not have done at a live event; as a shy person, for instance, is more likely to ask a question which might not have been the case with an “in-person” event.

Although we are currently living in a pandemic, East Africa Com was able to happen and people in the industry to meet and get the most out of it. The event was rich in terms of attendees, content and the speaker’s expertise was helpful.

East Africa Com was a very well organized event. The opportunities for learning, discovering new possibilities and making new industry contacts were simply fantastic.
