Catherine NdegwaAmbassador at Kenya Universities Students' Organisation
Catherine Ndegwa is the Ambassador of the Kenya Universities Students' Organization (KUSO), which serves as the umbrella organization for all student organizations in Kenya. Kenya has 71 public and private universities, as well as over 50 Technical Vocational Education and Training Institutions (TVETs), with a total student population of over 1,200,000.
She has been able to represent the organization in several meetings both in universities and state meetings.
Catherine has contributed in several projects concerning women empowerment especially with crawntrust fund and many other NGOs.
This United States International University Journalism and Mass Communication student, also launched "Voices Against Violence," a community-based campaign to combat gender-based violence.
Catherine Ndegwa has also worked in social media management as an intern at KBC, where she completed her internship and was given several individual accounts to manage.
Catherine is a firm believer in living her own life and not allowing others to dictate her tale for her.
